What is a reflective hoop and how is it different than an LED hoop?

Great question! Reflective hoops are created with tapes that refract light in videos/photos. Think of the reflective tape you see on safety vests. All of our hoops are crafted with high intensity diamond reflective tapes that are highly adhesive and heat resistant up to 5 minutes. Reflective hoops vary from LED’s because, unlike LED, reflective hoops do not require batteries or remotes, they simply require a phone or other recording devices!

Custom and personalized orders

I am absolutely happy to accept customized requests on hoops. Please feel free to message me prior to your purchase and we can get any finalized details in place! My customizations include, but aren’t limited to: taped hoops, reflective hoops, sectional colors, and requesting tubing not currently listed. If i don’t have the materials, i will get them! All communication on custom orders will be updated as needed, as to not spam the hoopsmith nor you the patron.

Care instructions

Hula hoops that are shipped coiled must be allowed to “breathe” after being opened.
Please, allow at least 1 hour before connecting your hoop and give it a press and roll on your floor in order to avoid the “egg” shape that can happen due to natural warping during shipping.
If you notice your hoop still has an oval shape to it, leave it out in the sunlight, flat, for up to 1 hour. The heat will allow your tubing to stretch back out.
In the event it’s not warm, a hairdryer will work in place.

I need to cancel an order, am I able to do that?

If you need to cancel an order and receive a refund, please notify the shop within 12 hrs of purchase. I tend to start crafting as soon as possible to keep turnaround times quick, requests to cancel after 12hrs may be denied as the hoop may already be completed.
